“Eh, keep yer frillies on. The boss’ll be along. Down at the Bloated Sow, he is. He’s doing bidness and no one interrupts the boss when he’s doing bidness.” – Zeeback – Max Hamby and the Emerald Hunt.
Some people describe her as a cold, calculating, power hungry woman.
While others shiver in their boots and swear she is far more evil than that.
Never one to team up with anyone, Drusilla decided it was in her best interest
to partner with Oxworth Pitt.
A bumbling fool of the highest order, Oxworth’s ego outweighed his talent.
Drusilla decided the best course of action was to watch the idiot implode, then
reap the rewards and do away with him at her leisure.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, my friends!
May it be a wonderful day for you all and may the coming new year be all that you hoped for and more.
Good morning, my friends,
I hope your week is going well and the holiday season is treating you fine.
Happy Holidays to you and yours.
Titles for the Max Hamby series were written out the other day, along with 3 separate books.
You all know Max Hamby and the Blood Diamond is available.
The second in the series will be Max Hamby and the Emerald Hunt due out in 2015.
Following that are five working titles which will be announced after the new year.
Posts and updates may be a bit sparse so that progress on book 2 can be sped up.
(I am very good at procrastinating with a severe amount of mindless internet surfing.)
Have a wonderful new year and do check back for more info.
Each day I’m a new writer, unable to be what I was before. Evolving with the story I become something entirely new. #write @BrianRathbone
Do you have a magical place you like to visit in person or a special place in a great book?
If I had to choose, it would be Mrs. Pitt’s home or Merrihaven. Both are whimsical, as well as magical.
I think I’d spend most of my time in Esther’s secret spot in the garden. There I could lounge under the weeping
willow, play with the pixies and talk to the flowers. In book 2 of the Max Hamby series, there are many more
places to come, but not all are whimsical or inviting.
Good morning, friends.
Another week has begun and I hope it’s a great one for you.
Moving right along with book 2.
Oxworth Pitt was the main villain to kick off the Max Hamby series, but he’s not the only “baddie” in book 2.
His competition does not play nice, but then again, neither does he. Is an alliance in his future?
Time will tell…

Have you been spreading the word about Max Hamby? Yes? Well, thank you very much.
In not, I think Knoxby has a bauble with your name on it. To avoid being frozen into a block of ice, please help spread the word about Max Hamby and the Blood Diamond by reading and exclaiming to the world how much you love it, a blog post, a review, or a share. Knoxby will put that bauble away in a blink of an eye and I’d be ever so grateful! 😉
Good morning, friends.
It’s #amwriting & Happy Saturday!
I hope your weekend is a good one. I’ve got sketches to finish, some to fix and more chapters to work on.
Whatever is on your agenda today, I hope everything turns out great for you.
And don’t forget, Max Hamby and the Blood Diamond makes for a great read at 2.99. It’s a quick download to your ereader or desktop app. Grab one for yourself or a friend. The print version is also available.
Woo-Hoo! Finally figured out how to clean up my manuscript for Max Hamby and the Blood Diamond to get into the Smashwords premium catalog. It too 2-2 1/2 months of continually failing the meatgrinder, but I did it.
It’s a small thing, but feels good and now I know what to do for the books to come.
Have a great night,my friends. 🙂
